I could not find the Debt Relief of America website, so all garnered information is provided by the Better Business Bureau. Complaints against Debt Relief of America tend to be regarding dissatisfaction with the company’s service and misrepresentation of the results of the debt negotiation program. More specifically, customers have been complaining that the debt negotiation program does not reduce their debt. Instead, customers say that as a result of the program, their debt has increased, due to late fees or additional interest and negative credit reporting. While it appears that the company resolves the complaints, it has not corrected the reasoning behind the complaints.
